World-Class Tattoo Artists in Asheville

I had a large color American traditional piece done by Johnny Agoes. He did a fantastic job and it’s easily my best tattoo. He was so patient with me on our first session as I didn’t eat or sleep and I was in so much pain because of that. Then when I came back for the shading it was a piece of cake. He was supportive and kept me distracted and all the guys in the shop were cracking me up. The environment was amazing and all the personalities in there made it a fun experience ! I will never get another tattoo anywhere else that’s for sure. I am in love with my tattoo and give this shop a 1000000/10

We were in town visiting Asheville from Austin TX and wanted to get a tattoo to commemorate our family being together in this beautiful place! All of the artists we spoke with were so kind, professional, and detail-oriented when tattooing both my husband and I with a very simple/small tattoo. We are both pretty heavily tattooed and have not always been met with kindness and professionalism like we did at Seven Swords, so that was a huge relief for us both. Truly made our trip a memorable experience and would recommend to any out-of-towner or Asheville native!

I got my first tattoo this weekend and it was the most amazing experience - more than I ever could have imagined. The studio was immaculate and the artists were all great. Z did my tattoo and was the absolute best. He was so intentional and kind and reassuring that he would make sure the tattoo would be exactly what and where I wanted it. And it is exactly what I wanted - I love it! If I got another one, I would travel back to Asheville to have Z do it. I was with 2 friends who also got tattoos by Z and it was the best day I’d had in a very long time. I’m so very grateful for Z and for this experience!
